Aspis Grows Customer Service Initiative With A New Team Member

Starting a new job is always an exciting and nerve-wracking opportunity. Recently, Aspis has grown our team bringing on a new position called a client relationship specialist. Through this blog, we wanted to introduce this new team member to everyone and talk a little more about them. Without further ado, we would like to introduce Connor Kropp.

Who am I?

My name is Connor Kropp. 3 months ago, I wouldn’t have guessed I would be working for a growing cybersecurity consulting company based in Kansas City, Missouri. ‘Why?’ you may ask? Well, for one, My specialty wasn’t in the tech field. I went to school for communication and public health mainly working in retail spaces. I was connected with Aspis Consulting through a colleague who thought I would be perfect for this new role. Secondarily, I live in Minnesota; specifically, northern Minnesota. (If you need a visual, picture Jon Snow adventuring in wildling territory north of the wall – that’s me walking to get the mail every day.)

What do I do?

I was brought on for a newly created position. My official title is ‘Client Relationship Specialist’. Being the first to take on a newly created position is always exciting because you can pave the way. The goal of my position is to create positive relationships with our current and potential future clients, manage social media, and help grow the brand of all things Aspis. So far, I’ve been leaving the cybersecurity and consulting to the professionals.

My primary focus has been improving our social media presence and growing the online presence of Aspis. A big focus for Aspis Consulting is growing its business, and social media is a great way to do that. If you have been keeping up with Aspis at all, you probably have noticed that we have been posting more on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, One of the most basic ways to increase the number of eyes on your business is to simply post more content. But I won’t get into the specifics of our whole marketing strategy. As I was not very familiar with cybersecurity consulting prior to this, I have been learning a lot of new things. It has been a lot of fun for me to be able to sit down and brainstorm creative ways to market something like Aspis on social media.

The Future

Looking ahead, I hope to continue to improve and get better at my job. Every day I am learning more and coming up with new creative ideas. Some will work. Some won’t. At the end of the day, I’m thankful for my fellow employees who have helped me out along the way and made me feel welcome. Aspis Consulting is a great company to work for and I’m lucky to be able to work with them.
