Aspis Consulting celebrates their 5th anniversary! To celebrate this momentous occasion, we gathered at Kauffman Stadium on June 1st to watch the Kansas City Royals. The day was made even more special as it coincided with the Royals’ annual Pride game. As an LGBTQ+ owned business, Aspis Consulting is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, so we loved seeing Kauffman Stadium light up with pride for the LGBTQ+ community. Thanks to perfect weather, the event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with friends, family, colleagues, and partners.
Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Achievements
This past year has been an incredible journey for Aspis Consulting. As we reflect on our accomplishments, we are proud of the strides we’ve made in our mission to provide top-notch cybersecurity and IT professional services.
New Office Space and Expansion
In December of 2023, we moved into our new downtown Kansas City office at 1301 Oak Street. This 1,200-square-foot space has been instrumental in supporting our rapid growth and providing a collaborative environment for our team. We also still currently hold a presence in Duluth, Minnesota with our downtown Duluth office, as well as remote employees working in Washington, DC and Wyoming.
Recognition and Awards
Aspis Consulting’s commitment to excellence has not gone unnoticed. We were featured in multiple publications, including the Kansas City Business Journal’s Pride Month Business Spotlight, showcasing our growth and achievements. Additionally, we were listed among the top 10 tech companies in the Kansas City area, further cementing our reputation as a leading technology firm.
Leadership and Community Engagement
Our CEO, Jeff Wagner, has been at the forefront of thought leadership in the cybersecurity sector. He was featured by the [Kansas Reflector] discussing the security incident that shut down the Kansas court system. Jeff also has the honor of speaking at the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) International Conference this summer, being featured as a small business cybersecurity thought leader.
Events and Networking
Aspis Consulting has been active in the community, participating in various events. Notably, we are active members of the Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce where Wagner volunteers as a supplier diversity advocate and ambassador. Another member of Aspis’ management team serves as a board member for the Equality Chamber Foundation of Washington, DC. Engaging with industry leaders and discussing important topics is something our organization values and will continue to do.
Upgraded Services
We’re proud to introduce our new brand, ‘MSSP by Aspis Consulting,’ to enhance our services. This MSSP initiative offers comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. MSSP by Aspis Consulting offers proactive monitoring, threat detection, and rapid response to secure our clients’ digital assets. For more information, visit MSSP by Aspis Consulting.
