The Metro Lutheran Ministry hosted their 50th annual Gala last week raising money for local Kansas City residents who are in need. The Metro Lutheran Ministry (MLM) is a nonprofit in Kansas City, Missouri. MLM focuses on helping the poor and in need with food, housing, health care, education, employment services, and other resources.
The Annual Gala is MLM’s largest fundraiser of the year, providing critical funds needed to help support programs such as the MLM food pantries, rapid re-housing and permanent supportive housing for the homeless, minor home repair, employment support services, and the MLM Christmas Store.
At MLM’s most recent gala Aspis had the opportunity to be one of the table sponsors for the event. Our hope was to help them raise money for those in need within the Kansas City area. We had the privilege to sponsor table 10 for the evening and had a blast at this event featuring fine food and live music. This was one of the first in-person events that our company has had the pleasure of sponsoring. Additionally, we hope to start doing more and want to offer our services to select nonprofits across America free of charge.
